Superiors Visit Kosovo

Piroska Kozák | 2017. január 24. 9:00On 18 January – heading a delegation from the officers of the HDF Joint Force Command (HDF JFC) Operations Directorate and the Office of Defense Cooperation of the Embassy of the United States Budapest – HDF JFC Acting Land Forces Chief Brig.-Gen. Gábor Horváth paid an official visit to Kosovo.
The program of the delegation started with a discussion with KFOR Commander Maj.-Gen. Giovanni Fungo and KFOR Chief of Staff Brig.-Gen. Patricia M. Anslow. High on the agenda of the meeting was the increasing future role of the Hungarian Defence Forces, including the handover-takeover process of the KFOR Tactical Reserve Maneuver Battalion (KTM), to be completed by the end of April.
In what followed, the delegation met the Portuguese officers of the KTM and the US headquarters of the KFOR Multinational Battle Group East (MNBG-E) to specify the technical details of the task.
