The Hungarian Defence Forces and the security of the country must be strengthened
Szöveg: Ministry of Defence | 2016. január 6. 15:00Minister of Defence Dr. István Simicskó has initiated five-party talks to be conducted in the Ministry of Defence on 12 January 2016, due to the changing security challenges of our age.
Earlier Dr. Simicskó already stated that “there is a need for quick decisions and effective implementation" in the interest of maintaining and further strengthening the security of Hungary.
For these reasons, it is timely to discuss whether the legal framework – which is currently in force and governs the tasks of the Hungarian Defence Forces – provides adequate opportunities for effectively responding to the changing security challenges.
