Controlled Detonation and Mortar Fire

The participants of the international exercise Clever Ferret 2017 conducted an LFX with the use of Hungarian 82mm and Italian 81mm mortars on the “zero point" range of the Hungarian Defence Forces. In addition to seeing each other’s weapons in action, during the training sessions the soldiers of the Multinational Land Forces (MLF) placed great emphasis on mutual communication and joint work.

Concurrently, at another venue, led by Lt.-Col. Ferenc Zsóri, the commander of the Operations Support Engineer Battalion of the HDF 5th Bocskai István Infantry Brigade, a familiarization training session on various items of demolition equipment and techniques was held for army engineers and the Croatian observers attending the exercise.
