November 16-án Berek Zsolt törzszászlós (Magyar Légierő) visszaadta az EUFOR vezénylőzászlósi botját az EUFOR parancsnokának, Johann Luif vezérőrnagynak.

Quick Response 2015 Opening Ceremony

On the morning of the 13th of October, the personnel from across Europe taking part in Exercise Quick Response 15 gathered for the opening ceremony of the exercise. Soldiers from the United Kingdom, Slovakia, Austria, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary all paraded in Camp Butmir, watched by COM EUFOR Major General Johann Luif.

EUFOR Hungarian Multinational Battalion contingent conduct mountain walk

On the 1st of October Hungarian members of the EUFOR Multinational Battalion took part in a teambuilding exercise, walking in the area around Bjelašnica. 130 people were on the walk, the second time that the MNBN have conducted the activity this year. Joining the Hungarian soldiers were other members of EUFOR including Austrian staff.

EUFOR September Medal Parade

On Tuesday the 29th of September a medal parade took place awarding 75 members of EUFOR with their European Union Common Security and Defence Policy Service Medal Operation Althea. The medal recognizes military personnel who have worked within EUFOR. COS EUFOR Brigadier General Zoltán Mihócza presented medals during the ceremony and addressed the recipients.

The first version of EUFOR’s 2015 Capacity Building and Training (CB&T) Calendar was signed this week by Major General Mirko Tepšić, Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff of AF BiH for Operations, and Brigadier General András Szűcs, Chief of Staff of EUFOR.
