Az EUFOR Többnemzeti Zászlóalja hegyi menettel tartja fenn harckészségét

Az EUFOR állománya hegyi kiképzési menetgyakorlatot hajtott végre a közelmúltban, a Trebevic-hegyen. A Többnemzeti Zászlóalj (Multinational Battalion, MNBN) – az EUFOR hadszíntéri manőveregysége – állományába tartozó katonák rutinkiképzésük részeként összesen 19 kilométeres távot tettek meg a hegyen védőfelszerelésben és fegyverrel annak érdekében, hogy fenntartsák magas szintű készenlétüket.

EUFOR’s Multinational Battalion stays fighting fit with a mountain march

EUFOR personnel conducted a mountain march training exercise on Mount Trebevic today. Troops from the Multinational Battalion (MNBN), which is EUFOR’s in-theatre manoeuvre unit, marched a total of 19km on the mountain while wearing protective equipment and carrying their weapons as part of their routine training to maintain their high level of readiness.

EUFOR Headquarters Hosts International Medal Parade

On 19 December 2017 Commander EUFOR, Major General Anton Waldner, presided over an international medal parade at EUFOR Headquarters in Camp Butmir, Sarajevo. Forty-eight service personnel received the European Union Common Security and Defence Policy Medal ‘Althea’ in recognition of their service in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

EUFOR Chief of Staff receives official appreciation from the Directorate for Police Coordination

Joint Integrated Capacity Building and Training Plan signed

On 14 December 2017 EUFOR Chief of Staff Brigadier General József Szpisják and the Deputy Chief of Joint Operations of the Armed Forces of BiH (AFBiH), Major General Mirko Tepšić, signed the Joint Integrated Capacity Building and Training (CB&T) Plan 2018. This was to confirm the planned CB&T activities EUFOR will provide to the AFBiH throughout the next year. EUFOR has in the past enabled a significant range of capability-enhancing training events.

General Tibor Benkő visited HQ EUFOR

On 07 Dec the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Hungary, General Tibor Benkő, visited EUFOR HQ, Camp Butmir for a meeting with the Commander EUFOR, Major General Anton Waldner. General Benkő inspected an Honour Guard under the command of the of Command Sergeant Major Bruno Planer comprising one Hungarian platoon along with Austrian and Turkish soldiers from the Multinational Battalion (MNBN).

Nemzetközi medálparádé az EUFOR-parancsnokságon

November 1-jén Szpisják József dandártábornok, az EUFOR törzsfőnöke vezetésével medálparádét rendeztek az EUFOR szarajevói parancsnokságán, a Butmir táborban. A tábornok az eseményen hat nemzet harmincegy katonájának adta át az Európai Unió közös biztonság- és védelempolitikájának Althea-medálját, és köszönetet mondott nekik elhivatott szolgálatteljesítésükért Bosznia-Hercegovinában.

International Medal Parade at the EUFOR Headquarters

On 1 November 2017 EUFOR Chief of Staff, Brigadier General József Szpisják, presided over a medal parade at the EUFOR Headquarters in Camp Butmir, Sarajevo. He presented the European Union Common Security and Defence Policy Medal “Althea” to 31 service personnel from 6 different nations and thanked them for their dedicated service in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
