‘The Measure Will Be Who Does The Most For Joint Defence’

‘Foreign and security policy challenges in Europe in the beginning of the 21st century’ was the title of the conference organized by the Political Sciences Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, where Minister of Defence Dr. Imre Szekeres also delivered a speech. As of 2011, Hungarian troops may even be deployed in African operations and the defence forces have already started the preparations.

Kétnapos konferenciát rendeztek Balatonkenesén a fizikai felkészítésben jártas honvédségi szakemberek számára, ahol több olyan előadás is elhangzott, melyekkel a téma fontosságát igyekezték alátámasztani. A jelenlévőknek lehetőségük volt arra is, hogy a fizikai felkészítésben a csapatoknál szerzett tapasztalataikat egyeztessék.

Karanténban egy egész laktanya

Karanténba helyezték egy svájci laktanya mind a 250 katonáját az ország nyugati részén fekvő Fribourgban, mert ketten közülük gyaníthatóan megfertőződtek az új típusú influenzavírussal – közölte a szövetségi védelmi, polgári védelmi és sportminisztérium.

Honvéd lett az erőemelő Európa-bajnok

Hajdú-Bihar megyéből bevonult az ezredik szerződéses katona. A 22 éves fiatalembert május 4-én ünnepélyes keretek között fogadták a debreceni toborzó irodán. Alapkiképzését Szentendrén hajtja végre, utána az MH 5. Bocskai István Lövészdandár felderítő zászlóaljának szerelője lesz.

Dream Team Introduced In Derecske

We can say without any exaggeration: this weekend, everything is about off-road rally in Derecske, since the small Hajdú-Bihar county town and its surroundings host the first round of this year’s national off-road rally tournament. The interesting thing about the race is that the off-road rally team of the Hungarian Defence Forces entered a competition for the first time. On Saturday, honvedelem.hu was also present.

With Bare Hands, Soundlessly

The military hand-to-hand combat camp organized by the reconnaissance battalion of the Debrecen infantry brigade in the last three weeks required iron will indeed. Navigational Training Before The Race – Dream Team In Csobánka

The off-road rally team of the Hungarian Defence Forces conducted a navigational training in the Csobánka drill ground of HDF Central Training Base of Szentendre. The guys will enter the first round of the national off-road rally championship this weekend.

Járőrbajnokság hegyen-völgyön át

A tatai MH 25. Klapka György Lövészdandár szervezésében rendezték meg a Magyar Honvédség járőrbajnokságát. A versenyen 21 katonai szervezet csapatai indultak. A férfiaknak – légvonalban – tizenhét, a nőknek pedig tíz kilométeres útvonalat kellett teljesíteniük.

Bázisnap 2009

Az 59. Szentgyörgyi Dezső Repülőbázis szinte napra pontosan 19 évvel ezelőtt – 1990. április 28-án – vette fel a II. világháború legendás vadászpilótájának, Szentgyörgyi Dezsőnek a nevét. Ez alkalomból, első ízben került sor a bázisnap megtartására.
