Attachés’ Visit to Szentendre

The delegation was received by Colonel Mr. Imre Frankó, the Deputy Commandant of the HDF NCO Academy in the Szentendre Barracks. In his presentation he spoke about the history, the organisational structure and the operational system of the unit, then gave detailed information about the formal education of the Honvéd NCO candidates, and the unified preparation of the contracted soldiers.

Following the presentations, the military diplomats visited the unit’s museum, where they could learn about the last eighty years of the Honvéd NCO training. After the program the military diplomats could listen to the concert of the Szentendre Garrison Band, and then viewed the dormitories of the Honvéd NCO candidates.
