The co-operation of the Hungarian Defence Forces (HDF) and the Serbian Armed Forces manifests itself not only in the joint exercises and training events of the armies of the two countries. It is by now a tradition that the top leaders of the Serbian and the Hungarian armed forces play friendly football matches twice a year. During the present – the eighth – futsal-match Lieutenant General Gábor Böröndi also entered the pitch. The sporting event was viewed by the Serbian Defence Minister Mr. Aleksandar Vulin and Lieutenant General Milan Mojsilović, the Serbian Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces.

Until the last minutes both teams struggled heroically, but this did not change the result: the match ended with a 2:1 victory of the Serbs.
