Students of George Mason University Visit Ministry of Defence

They held a conversation with Minister of Defence Dr. István Simicskó about the systems of the Ministry of Defence and the Hungarian Defence Forces, Hungary’s defence and security cooperation, the challenges to security in our age, the migration crisis situation and the threats of international terrorism.

The students are spending six months in our country, where they learn mainly about migration and have already been to the Hungarian–Serbian border. During their stay in Hungary, they have paid the first visit to the minister of defence.

The meeting was an excellent opportunity for the students to obtain a picture from another aspect of the migration crisis situation and the challenges to security. Today’s meeting also served the further strengthening and development of Hungarian–US relations.
