“All of you have performed your duties with honor and completed your mission!” – this was how Lt.-Gen. Zoltán Orosz, the Deputy Chief of the MoD Defence Staff welcomed the troops of the fifth rotation of the HDF KFOR Contingent, speaking also on behalf of the Minister of Defence and the Chief of Defence in Szolnok on Wednesday, March 7.

In his speech, Lt.-Gen. Zoltán Orosz stressed that the troops now returning from the mission had served in a country which is characterized by a tense internal situation that often leads to acts of violence. The seriousness of the situation in Kosovo is evidenced by a recent discussion over the developments in the region at the NATO Defence Ministers’ meeting in February 2012.
