In what followed, static displays and dynamic shows presented the upgraded versions of the AK assault rifle, the PKM machine gun and the Glock pistol, as well as the symbols of the unit, a T-72 main battle tank, a PTS amphibious transport vehicle and two BTR armored personnel carriers (APCs).

The next day the attachés’ traditional annual shooting competition took place on the Püspökszilágy range. The most exciting phase of the competition involving AK-63F assault rifles and P9RC Parabellum pistols was the duel, where the pairs started running from a prone position to reach the firing point located at a distance of 20 meters. There, the one who first hit the target with the Kalashnikov qualified for the next round. Apart from the weapons in service, the competitors had opportunity to test the upgraded version of the AK and the Hungarian-made Hiúz (Lynx) sniper rifle. By the overall results, the winner of the 2016 shooting competition was Romanian defence attaché Col. Iuliu Lucaci, who took home the perpetual trophy for this year.
