At Halfway Point
Szöveg: HDF Logistic Mentor Team-5 | 2012. szeptember 8. 6:03The mission of the fifth rotation of the HDF Logistic Mentor Team has reached halfway point. The objective is to enable the Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) to independently guarantee security for the population of the country by the end of 2014.
The Hungarian–Croatian contingent executes its tasks in the area of the Kabul Military Training Center (KMTC) as a unit integrated into the organization of the German Armed Forces Technical Advisory Group (GAFTAG), helping the training provided for the logistic personnel of the Afghan National Army (ANA).
Each KMTC course is attended by several hundred enlisted men who arrive here to master the skills required for the performance of support and service duties and to practice driving. Hopefully, through the advisory and mentoring activity provided for the Afghan trainers of these enlisted men, the Hungarian Logistic Mentor Team can accelerate the achievement of the goal of enabling the ANSF by the end of 2014 to independently guarantee the security of the population in the country.
