Ceremonial Staff Meeting on the Occasion of March 15

The 13th rotation of the HDF Provincial Reconstruction Team (HUN PRT-13) held a ceremonial staff meeting on March 15. At the event, the names were read out of the soldiers to receive service medals awarded by the Minister of Defence for their time in service. In what followed, Col. Antal Sipos, the HUN PRT-13 commander presented memorial plaquettes and certificates of commendation.

SFC Mátyás Sznopka, the command sergeant major of the HUN PRT delivered a speech at
the ceremony, in which he said that “The ones who do not remember the past do no have a
present and cannot have a future either". The sergeant first class stressed that “the feats of
our predecessors have by now become the symbols of the rise and unity of our nation. We,
today’s soldiers are treading, with faith and honor, the path they set for us.

Col. Sipos closed his speech with thanking the soldiers of the 13th rotation for their more than
six months of work.
