EUFOR was represented at the Combined Training event by the 1st platoon of the infantry company of the Hungarian contingent, and the AFBiH by two rifle platoons of the 5th Armed Forces BiH Infantry Brigade. While executing the tasks, the Hungarian soldiers proved their skills, competence and abilities of cooperation in the fields of command, reconnaissance, in-theatre and tactical actions in realistic scenarios, and their readiness to intervene in potential live situations as well.

During the training practices – which involved force protection duties, military operations on urban terrain and the manning of checkpoints – with the help of Hungarian trainers, the multinational force acquired the skills aimed at joint practice of techniques and procedures to be applied in tactical situations at squad and platoon levels. The training program ended with a complex tactical exercise where the rifle platoons demonstrated the skills they had acquired during the Combined Training event.
