Peacekeeping live fire-exercise on the Szolnok Shooting Range
Hungary has been participating in the MFO-mission, looking back on a more than thirty year’s past, since 1995 with a joint military police contingent. In the Sinai Peninsula at present 26 soldiers and 15 police officers are performing service. The peacekeeper-training course containing general peace-operation and theatre-specific training modules lasts for four weeks.
One of the most important training events of the first week was the execution of the so-called live fire exercises for peacekeepers.
Fire!
As the performable tasks on the area of operation (AO) so require, the HDF Peace Support Training Centre is conducting the preparation course in close cooperation with the Dunakeszi Instruction Centre of the National Police HQ HR Administration Service.
The majority of the prepared personnel will travel to the AO in March according to the plans.
The evaluation: excellent!
