Minister of Defence Dr. Tibor Benkő Received the Ambassador of Slovenia

In the meeting Dr. Tibor Benkő noted that Slovenia as a neighbouring country is of priority importance for us, and it is vital to ensure that the balanced, substantial co-operation between the two countries will continue. The Minister praised the excellent co-operation in the fields of education-training and airspace defence, and also that several forward-looking joint programs have already been, or will be organised in the future, in the framework of the First World War Centenary Commemoration.

During the discussions the parties reviewed, inter alia, the areas of bilateral military co-operation and agreed that there are more such possibilities in the field of defence industry, where it is worth further strengthening the Hungarian-Slovenian military to military co-operation.
