On May 18, the NATO CIMIC Field and Staff Worker Course, which was conducted for two weeks in the HDF CivilMilitary Cooperation and Psychological Operations Centre came to an end.

The course prepared the participants for the execution of mission tasks, who could get familiarised with the basics of CIMIC, its goals, system of tasks, purpose, and beyond the tactical level they could practice the duties of staff officers in a multinational environment. During the first week the CIMIC was introduced as a military capability in lectures and in classroom instruction, while in the second week the aim was the routine practising of this capability through the development and implementation of practical examples. In so doing, the emphasis was laid on acquiring such skills, as the application of negotiating techniques, or the behaviour elements used with interpreters.
