„Together We Build the Future”

“We are honoured that year after year more and more guests visit the international week. This year from the participating sixty-five NCOs twenty-five came from abroad: among others Slovakia, Czechia, Croatia, Slovenia, Lithuania delegated senior enlisted leaders for the one-week event. It is a special joy for me to welcome amongst our guests Sergeant Major Tibor Bogdán, the Command Senior Enlisted Leader (CSEL) of the NATO Allied Command Transformation (NATO ACT), who earlier served at the NCO Academy. This year Command Sergeant Major Davor Petek, the Command Senior Enlisted Leader (CSEL) for Allied Command Operations at NATO’s Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) also graced the event with his attendance.

The special guest of the international seminar is Major General John C. Harris, the Commander of the Ohio National Guard, who delivers a lecture about the twenty-five years lasting outstanding relationship and longstanding successful co-operation of the National Guard and the Hungarian Defence Forces.

During the event the command sergeant majors can hear several lectures, and engage in conversations with the NATO command senior enlisted leaders: they can get an insight into the strategic level tasks, the plans for the future, and the experiences concluded from the international events of the past period.
