Honvéd Art Ensemble Nominated for ’Prima Primissima Prize’
Szöveg: Tamás Zilahy | 2011. augusztus 23. 10:04Unlike many other cultural institutions of similar genre, the Honvéd Ensemble does not know the concept of summer vacation, namely their appearances come one after the other in quick succession, – said the Art Secretary Zsuzsa Turjányi, who also told us that the Ensemble is shortlisted for this year’s Prima Primissima Prize.
In Hungarian folk art and public education category, besides etnographist Jolán Borbély, and pianist Zoltán Mága, the Honvéd Art Ensemble was also awarded the ’Prima Prize’, as the art secretary informed us. Thus the Ensemble – for the first time in its history – will compete for the ’Prima Primissima Prize’ of EUR 50000. The decision will be made in December in the framework of the traditional gala program, but voting is already by now available on the homepage www.primissima.hu.
