Joint Efforts Needed for Success
Szöveg: Lieutenant Colonel Dr. János Hegedűs | 2013. november 28. 9:04Brigadier General József Szpisják (EUFOR COS), SNR held a staff meeting in connection with the handover/takeover of the tasks of the NATO and EUFOR soldiers in individual positions serving in Bosnia-Herzegovina on Wednesday, November 20.
General József Szpisják thanked the officers and the NCOs ending their service for their work, with which they supported him in discharging his duties as Chief of Staff. He noted that the EUFOR has achieved significant results in the past year, due to fact that each soldier has understood that they can only attain successes if they carry out the tasks in unity. He added that with their work they largely contributed to enhancing the positive reputation of the Hungarian Defence Forces (HDF) and Hungary. Greeting the newly arrivals, the Brigadier General said: “The joint effort of all of us is needed for the mission’s success. Be always aware that the population of Bosnia-Herzegovina needs the help of each person in order to guarantee the maintenance of a peaceful, safe environment, and as a result of that the actual development could start in the country, and the gate to the membership of the European Union could open."
They served together
József Szpisják wished every success to the future career of the outgoing personnel, and requested them to try to utilise their knowledge acquired in their daily work at home. He emphasised, that they should look for the opportunities, that with the transfer of their experiences they can contribute to the improvement of the living standard of the personnel serving in this place, and to the preparation of the personnel assigned to participate in the next mission.
