Szöveg: hungariandefence.com / HDF KAIA FP Contingent | 2012. október 5. 14:20After a mandatory induction training, the soldiers of The Hungarian Defence Forces Kabul International Airport Force Protection Contingent started the handover-takeover process of their tasks.
The deployment of the whole contingent to the area of operations took five days. The process started on September 14 at the Liszt Ferenc International Airport Budapest, from where the whole contingent was airlifted in the first phase to a US air base at Manas International Airport, Kyrgyzstan. From here, the 226 Hungarian troops were transported by air to Afghanistan in two phases on September 19.
After a mandatory induction training, the soldiers of the HDF Kabul International Airport Force Protection Contingent started the handover-takeover process of their tasks. Those serving with the international staff and the Force Protection Company have to take over the tasks in progress from the foreign troops and process the lessons learned so that the Hungarians can start performing the full spectrum of their duties as of October 1.
