At the present meeting, besides the challenges to security in the region, the two delegations also discussed a number of issues in the two countries’ defence policy and joint armed forces development program.
At the meeting, Minister of Defence Dr. István Simicskó pointed out that both countries are facing common challenges, and therefore close military cooperation, the sharing of experiences and the development of armed forces in both countries are very important tasks.
The minister of defence emphasized that in addition to further strengthening the excellent Croatian–Hungarian military cooperation, the common goals at regional and EU level also include fostering good neighborly relations and deepening friendship between the two nations.
