Szöveg: First Lieutenant Béla Papp | 2013. november 21. 5:22The mission of the ninth rotation of the HDF KFOR Contingent (HUN KFOR Contingent-9) slowly arrives to its half time in Kosovo. In the past years, it has become a tradition that in the half time of the tour of duty abroad the soldiers in key positions of the next rotation pay an inspection visit to the contingent. That is what happened now.
The Command Staff of the 10th Rotation preparing for mission in Pristina
During their one-week stay in Camp Slim Lines, the command staff of the 10th rotation could familiarise themselves with the current situation of the area of operation (AO), and the armament technology instruments used by the KFOR Tactical Reserve Manoeuvre Battalion (KTM) as well. The soldiers in key positions of the next rotation also got acquainted with the organisational structure of the battalion, and the daily tasks of the service members serving in the individual positions.
The future commanders got all kinds of assistance, so that the tenth rotation – the personnel of which, such as the present, drawn from the HDF 5th Bocskai István Infantry Brigade – can begin the pre-mission preparation.
