Pre-deployment Site Survey in Bosnia-Herzegovina
Szöveg: Capt. Imre Farkas | 2013. május 25. 6:00The next rotation of the HDF EUFOR Contingent – the personnel of which is mostly drawn from the HDF 37th “Ferenc Rákóczi II” Engineer Regiment – is preparing in Hungary to start its peacekeeping mission in Sarajevo in July 2013.
During the pre-deployment training, the key leaders of the rotation arrived in the area operations to gain personal experiences and the greatest possible insight into the expected tasks.
The pre-deployment site survey team arrived during the “Quick Response" multinational exercise in April 2013, so they had opportunity to watch close by the activity multinational maneuver battalion and the Hungarian company within it.
The members of the team met EUFOR Chief of Staff Brig-Gen. (Eng.) József Szpisják, the Hungarian Senior National Representative, and were introduced to the life of Camp Butmir and the everyday routine of the mission.
