Talks on Cooperation

As part of his program in Hungary, the high-ranking guest visited Székesfehérvár on November 15, 2012, where Maj.-Gen. László Domján, the commander of the HDF Joint Force Command (HDF JFC) received the delegation.
Gen. Harris was given comprehensive and detailed information about the historical past of Székesfehérvár garrison, the military traditions of the town, the organizational structure of the HDF JFC and its assigned organizations, and the Hungarian Defence Forces’ role in missions, with special regard to the activity of the HDF Operational Mentoring and Liaison Team (HDF OMLT) deployed in Afghanistan, which forms the basis of the Hungarian–American (Ohio) State Partnership Program. The two military leaders also discussed the fields of further cooperation.
