„There Are No Rambos in Live Situations”
Szöveg: Ferenc Antal | 2013. október 10. 9:00The 3rd International System of Survival and Special Training seminar was recently held in Budapest with a very high attendance. On the two-day training, Denis Ryauzov, the trainer of Russian Special Forces introduced the fundamentals of his system.
Gennady Nikulov expressed satisfaction with the Hungarian instructors. As he said, following an international seminar, they had decided to open another representation in Hungary.
Answering our question, Tibor Támcsu told us that this was a high-level training school for higher military and police units, so they were very pleased to learn that the organization had chosen them for this mission. Among other things, they are planning to
provide training opportunities for various sectors of law enforcement and national defence, and also to train those applying for personal protection tasks.
On the first day of the two-day training, the participants learned the basics, including movement with arms and knife/unarmed combatives. The style taught by Ryauzov is characterized by natural but at the same time cruelly effective techniques, so it is no wonder that the system forms the fundamental pillars of the fearful Russian commando “Specnaz".
The motto “This system is not a sport, the main objective here is survival" was repeated over and over again at the seminar. This mentality was most salient during the knife/counter knife combatives, where the former military officer preferred to use real blade to imitate attacks. As he said, he had already had to carry out a similar series of tactical movements in a number of live situations too…He added that “There are no Rambos in live situations".
The 39-year-old former paratrooper today works in the private sector, and founded the bodyguard school with some of his former comrades, where they teach the system of survival and special training, the so-called “Specpodgotovka" (special training program) developed by them. Denis and his colleagues will soon hold training sessions in Hungary for rapid reaction forces that are tasked with escorting VIPs and valuable cargo.
Next year the organization will hold a weeklong high-level training course in Hungary, where leading instructors from all member states of the representation are expected to be present.
