The exercise was conducted in south Kosovo, in the territory of Novo Brdo, and it needed a several-day preparation from each of the participating nations. The soldiers of the Hungarian contingent carried out a security operation as the KFOR Tactical Reserve Battalion (KTRBN) under the direct control of the KFOR Commander. They established observation-points, mobile checkpoints in different places, and in addition they closed the dangerous directions with foot and mobile patrols. As a priority mission, they were tasked to escort and secure the route of the convoy of the Austrian transport company under the direct control of the Joint Logistics Support Group (KFOR JLSG).

The Hungarian contingent was also tasked with securing the Quick Reaction Force (QRF) providing reserve for the subunits conducting manoeuvres.
