In the camp near Pristina, about 1300 soldiers of thirteen nations are stationing, thus the camp commander’s position, which is directly subordinated to the KFOR DCOM, encompasses a very wide-ranging task-system. The Hungarian-led Headquarters performs the co-ordination and the supporting tasks of the camp’s life together with the Swiss and Austrian soldiers. Furthermore, the task-system also includes the storing and controlling of the ammunition and explosive stockpiles, and also the cooperation with the local organisation of the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) in order to direct and supervise the real logistical support.

Brig.-Gen. Reinhard Ruckenstuhl, KFOR Deputy Commander (KFOR DCOM) presented a Letter of Commendation to Lt.-Col. Paor in recognition of his outstanding work, and said thanks for his service.
