On Wednesday, November 23 Defence Minister Dr. Csaba Hende received in his office Munsi Abdul Majeed, the governor of Baghlan Province and Moh. Rasul Mohsene (Rasul Khan), the Shura leader of Baghlan Province. Also present at the meeting were Lt.-Gen. Zoltán Orosz, the Deputy Chief of the MoD Defence Staff and MoD Deputy State Secretary for Defence Policy and Planning Péter Siklósi.

Swedish and Albanian Ambassadors Visit the Minister of Defence

Minister of Defence Dr. Csaba Hende received in his office on Tuesday, November 22, H.E. Karin Olofsdotter, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Budapest, and H.E. Mira Hoxha, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to Budapest. The negotiations were also attended by Péter Siklósi, the MoD Deputy State Secretary for Defence Policy and Planning.

Successful Meeting in Levoca

At the press conference closing the meeting of V4 Defence Ministers it has been announced that the V4 EU Battle Group will be formed by 2016. Defence Minister Dr. Csaba Hende emphasized that Hungary had been supporting the idea since the proposal was put forward.
