New Senior National Representative in Afghanistan

As of September 1, Col. Tibor Talabos is the Hungarian senior national representative in Afghanistan. During the last six months, from March 1 on, Col. Gábor Lőrincz, Head of Operations Department, Defence Stafff Operations Directorate carried out the duties of the senior national representative in Afghanistan.

American Colonel Receives Hungarian Military Decoration

Col. Paul Sarat, Deputy Commander, Train Advise Assist Command – North (TAAC-N) Afghanistan recently received a Hungarian military award at a ceremony. The US senior officer was commended by Col. Gábor Lőrincz, Hungarian senior national representative for his outstanding work done in the interest of Hungarian troops serving in the Afghanistan theatre of war and in Camp Marmal.
