The First Half is Over

The almost sixty personnel contingent, who has been staying in Sweden for a week, conducts air-to-air and air-to-earth live fire exercise in the framework of the Air Superiority 2018 Exercise at the Vidsel Air Base. Brigadier General Albert Sáfár, Air Chief of the HDF Joint Force Command was personally convinced about the successes of the missions on the spot.

The Prospective Observers on Patrol Exercise

The students of the 35th International Military Observer Course – IMOC carried out patrol exercise in the region of Egerbakta-Felnémet. Twenty seven soldiers, policemen and civil employees coming from seventeen nations participate in the three-week course of the Hungarian Defence Forces Peace Support Training Centre (HDF PSTC – Szolnok).

A Competition for the Toughest

Commander of HDF Joint Force Command Visits Sarajevo

On 27–28 March Maj.-Gen. Ferenc Korom, Commander, HDF Joint Force Command (HDF JFC) visited Camp Butmir in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina. Besides participating in the Change of Command Ceremony of the international European Union Force (EUFOR) Althea, he held a staff meeting for the members of the Hungarian contingent currently serving with the foreign mission.

Iain Lindsay: Guaranteeing European Security Is Our Collective Task

On Monday, 19 February the Hungarian Atlantic Council held an afternoon tea at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences with the title “The United Kingdom and Europe for a secure common future”. In his lecture, British Ambassador Iain Lindsay emphasized that the United Kingdom is not turning its back on Europe and is not stepping back from its leadership in European security.

Austrian Soldiers Finish their Work in Hungary

On Monday, 4 December the flag of Austria was lowered at a ceremony in the Hódmezővásárhely barracks of the HDF 5th Bocskai István Infantry Brigade. After 13 months, the Austrian engineer contingent serving in Hungary has finished its work.

Multinational Cooperation is a Real Value
