Discussion about Hungarian–American Cooperation in the Ministry of Defence

At the meeting, Minister Hende stressed that there is effective and close cooperation between the Ministry of Defence and the US Department of Defense.
The American partners praised Hungary’s role in peace operations in the Western Balkans and Afghanistan.
Following the discussion, the US Congress delegation was introduced to the activities of the Hungarian Defence Forces 34th “Bercsényi Miklós" Special Forces Battalion, and to the military equipment procured within the US foreign military financing (FMF) program. Both delegations described the meeting as successful.
