Zoltán Pintér, Air Force Chief, HDF Joint Force Command, and Maj-Gen. László Domján, Director-General, Military Security Office of the Republic of Hungary. Defence Minister Dr. Csaba Hende delivered a welcome speech in which he thanked the members of the Hungarian contingent for their service. “I am greeting you on the strip of tarmac where we said goodbye to each other half a year ago! At that time you were going on a mission, being responsible for the gateway, the air traffic flow of a country, as it is the Kabul International Airport that connects Afghanistan with the world. You were tasked with managing this huge airport, creating harmony among the sons of many different nations serving there, encouraging and debriefing them, assigning them tasks, checking the execution and setting an example by your performance and commitment. You’ve done what you can, you’ve done a good job indeed. You have represented the Hungarian tricolors with honor" – this was how Csaba Hende greeted the returning soldiers.
