The Objective is Strengthening the Co-operation
Szöveg: Ministry of Defence | 2018. szeptember 10. 18:36An Interministerial Agreement was signed by State Secretary of Defence István Szabó and the representative of Vietnam’s Ministry of National Defence 10th September, in the Parliament, in Budapest.
In the framework of a tour in Europe, Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and his delegation paid a visit to Hungary. During the official program in the Parliament, following the Prime Minister’s plenary session, the representatives of the ministries of the Hungarian and the Vietnamese parties signed many bilateral agreements in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Viktor Orbán, and Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong. Accordingly, an Agreement of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of National Defence (MND) of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Ministry of Defence, which aims to promote the co-operation in the field of defence.
After the Parliament program, State Secretary István Szabó received General Be Xuan Truong, Deputy Minister of National Defence for a bilateral talk in his office. In the meeting the parties reviewed the contemporary security challenges, and discussed the possibilities of the further development of co-operation.
