Hungarian Lieutenant Colonel Receives COMEUFOR’s Letter of Commendation
Szöveg: Volunteer Operational Reservist Lt.-Col. József Kovács | 2016. június 9. 9:00Maj.-Gen. Friderich Schrötter, Commander European Union Force (COMEUFOR) has awarded a commendation to Lt.-Col. Dr. Dezső Hajós, a volunteer operational reservist of the Hungarian Defence Forces who has recently completed his nine-month tour as Executive Officer to Chief of Staff EUFOR at Headquarters EUFOR, Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The letter of commendation states that Lt.-Gen. Dezső Hajós received it “in recognition of his outstanding performance", because “he went well beyond the normal demands of duty" and “actively organized, attended and led sport and cultural activities" both at HQ EUFOR and in the Hungarian contingent. As part of this, by working as a spinning instructor on a voluntary basis for several months, he has contributed to stimulating the leisure and sport activities at HQ EUFOR.
