Military Exercise Displays EUFOR Capabilities

The EUFOR Multinational Battalion (MNBN) – which also includes Hungarian soldiers serving in Sarajevo – carried out evacuation and convoy escort tasks as well a live fire exercise in the area.

This exercise series was the closing phase of a three-week assessment and capability evaluation training event directed by Chief of Staff EUFOR Brig.-Gen. Albert Sáfár, Hungarian Senior National Representative.

The MNBN informed the visitors about its equipment and weaponry. The guests learned about the assets used by the nations in EUFOR and saw the soldiers using crowd and riot control (CRC) tactics and executing VIP escort, protection and evacuation tasks.
