Handover-Takeover in Afghanistan
Szöveg: HUN NSE | 2018. december 2. 10:08In the second half of November, during the handover-takeover procedure the number of Hungarian soldiers serving in Afghanistan increased to over two-hundred.
In addition to handing over the service-related and professional tasks of the contingents and of the soldiers in individual positions involved in the NATO Resolute Support operations, the inventory of the full-scale logistic supplies of the HDF National Support Element – Afghanistan (HUN NSE) and the handover of the tasks according to functions took place. Lt.-Col. László Oláh handed over the commander’s responsibilities of the HUN NSE – Afghanistan to Lt.-Col. Katalin Langenbrinck, the Commander of the 18th Rotation.
At the handover-takeover ceremony, Lt.-Col. László Dóra, the Senior National Representative of the Hungarian soldiers serving in Afghanistan thanked the personnel of the HUN NSE-17 for their conscientious work, and wished an equally successful mission to the contingent taking over the tasks. In what follows, Lt.-Col Dóra presented Memorial Certificates to Lt.-Col. László Oláh, Captain Péter Kovács and Senior Warrant Officer Mária Mészáros from the personnel of the HUN NSE-17 – Afghanistan, and to Lt. Tibor István Szőllősi, the Commander of the 8th Rotation of the HDF Force Protection Platoon as a recognition of their excellent working performance exerted during the tour of duty abroad.
