Successful Governmental Cooperation on NATO CMX 11

Dr. Csaba Hende Represented Hungary in Paris

1956 meant the encounter with freedom for Europe and for the whole world, too – declared Dr. Csaba Hende during the ceremony of the Hungarian Catholic Mission in Paris. On Saturday, October 22, in the evening hours the Minister of Defence attended the concert held at the Church of the Invalids named after St. Louis, representing the Government of Hungary at the most important event of the Liszt-year in France.

Magyar-kínai katonai megbeszélés Budapesten

Lt.-Gen. Orosz’ Visit to Afghanistan

Lt.-Gen. Zoltán Orosz, the Deputy Chief of the MoD Defence Staff paid a professional visit to Afghanistan between October 12 and 18. The visit was aimed at providing the leadership of the Hungarian Defence Forces with a precise update on the Hungarian troops’ current situation, their training, living conditions, everyday life and the tasks of the contingents. Gen. Orosz briefed the personnel of the Hungarian contingents serving with ISAF about the present state of the streamlining process.

Military History Exhibition in Greece

In early October an exhibition opened in Chania, Greece with 21 panels to commemorate the first-ever peace-enforcement/peacekeeping operation initiated by Hungary. At a later date, the MoD Military History Institute and Museum will donate the collection on display to the honorary consul of Hungary to Crete.

Tájékozódás és tapasztalatszerzés
