Din of Combat at Tatárszentgyörgy

On November 3, in line with the annual training schedule the troops of the HDF 25/88 Airmobile Battalion conducted a live fire exercise (LFX) on the Tatárszentgyörgy range. The unit was present at the LFX at full strength, only those currently on their tours of duty on missions abroad were “absent”.

During the LFX the troops recently transferred to the battalion were tasked to execute all the ordered target practices, by firing every weapon in use with the unit. For those serving with the battalion for a long time, the event was a sustainment marksmanship training.

In addition to the ground exercise, the soldiers of Szolnok had to destroy the targets placed on the Tatárszentgyörgy range from aboard a helicopter. They fired pistols, assault rifles, machine guns, RPGs and mortars on the range day.
