Szöveg: First Lieutenant Judit Bazsala | 2013. december 19. 9:00The handover-takeover process between the seventh and the eighth rotations of the HDF National Support Element – Afghanistan (NSE-A) was successfully carried out during the period determined by the Commander. The Commanders of the two rotations signed the official TOA documents on December 2, and the national flag hoisting and lowering ceremony took place also then.

During the ceremony Colonel József Mogyorósi, the new Contingent Commander thanked Colonel Dr. Gyula Révész, the Commander of the rotation ending their mission, for the service they rendered, and then he conferred decorations – from the seventh rotation personnel – upon Lieutenant Colonel Ferenc Tibor Papp, Major Rezső Balogh, Staff Sergeant Dániel Ress and Corporal Attila Tibold, respectively.
On the occasion of the logistics day he awarded gifts of appreciation – as a recognition of their work – to Lieutenant Colonel Gábor Gyenes, First Lieutenant Katalin Zavadszky, and Warrant Officer Károly Imre and Warrant Officer Gyula Kovács from the soldiers of the eighth rotation.

Colonel Mogyorósi stressed that the task ahead of the eighth rotation is appealing, but it is also of high responsibility, as they have to ensure the provision of services to the entire Hungarian personnel, serving in the theatre of Afghanistan according to the best of their knowledge to the satisfaction of the service members.
As a closing gesture of the handover-takeover process, the NSE-8 personnel hosted a dinner for the Hungarians serving in Camp Marmal.
