Cooperation Is Vital in Our Region
Szöveg: honvedelem.hu | 2016. február 5. 9:00On 2 February 2016, Minister of Defence Dr. István Simicskó received Dr. Miro Kovač, the recently appointed Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia. The Croatian minister’s first official journey included a visit to the Ministry of Defence.
The parties agreed that the migration crisis must not have any negative impact on Croatian–Hungarian relations, and that the formation of the Croatian government can give further impetus to cooperation, among others in the field of military-to-military relations.
Miro Kovač described the strategic directions of Croatia’s foreign policy, in which the Visegrád Four (V4) countries, including Hungary, have an outstanding role. István Simicskó assured his partner of his support for the development of relations between Croatia and the V4, referring to the fact that cooperation in the region is vital, given the interdependence of the countries.
