International Meeting of Iraq-Deployed Logisticians in the Netherlands
Szöveg: H.Gy. | 2013. október 8. 9:28Following Wadowice (Poland), Budapest (Hungary) and Odessa (Ukraine), ten years after the start of the mission in Iraq, the logisticians of the Multinational (“Polish”) Division met in the Netherlands.
Besides the former comrades from the Netherlands, Poland, the United States of America and Ukraine, Col. (Ret.) Dr. Gyula Hautzinger and Col. (Ret.) (Eng.) Antal Bakó – two previous Hungarian logistic chiefs of the division – were also present at the meeting. The participants recounted the sweet and bitter memories of their co-deployment in the area of operations.
Organized with the support from the armed forces of the Netherlands, the meeting provided the participants with an opportunity to learn about the distant past and the present of the host country as well. At the end of the event, they started to organize the next fifth meeting.
