Medal Parade in EUFOR
Szöveg: Lt.-Col. Dr. Dezső Hajós (volunteer operational reservist) | 2015. december 14. 10:56Nearing the end of their tour of duty, the Hungarian peacekeepers serving in Camp Butmir, Sarajevo were recently presented with EUFOR medals for completing the foreign mission.
“Over the recent period, the successful performance of your duties has resulted in a significant improvement in EUFOR’s opinion of the Hungarian troops’ professionalism", Brig.-Gen. Zoltán Mihócza, Chief of Staff EUFOR said at the event.
At the ceremony, altogether 143 Hungarian soldiers received medals certifying the successful completion of their service with Operation EUFOR ALTHEA. Mr. József Négyesi, Hungary’s ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina also attended the medal parade.
