OMLT-8 Starts Training
Szöveg: Lt. Andea Demény | 2011. december 16. 16:10Drawn from the personnel of the HDF 25th Klapka György Infantry Brigade of Tata, the eighth rotation of the HDF Operational Mentoring and Liaison Team (OMLT-8) to deploy in Afghanistan has commenced its mission rehearsal training program.
The pre-deployment training consists of three phases. The first one comprises so-called individual and central training sessions, which involve rehearsal for some previously practiced tactical situations as well. Thankfully, most members of the contingent have already been to Afghanistan, so they are familiar with these situations.
The first phase of the training is complemented with the so-called Counter-IED course – which is a complex (counter improvised explosive device) activity –, and a CIMIC refresher course, which provides the participants with basic information about Afghanistan, the local people and their customs.
