Invited to fly along for an imitated interception carried out by Hungarian Gripens, the ambassador of the United States to Budapest arrived by air in Kecskemét, where she was received by the Minister of Defence.

There Are No Problems, Only Tasks

End of 2014 marks handover with NATO’s Baltic Air Policing Mission

RAMSTEIN, Germany – As 2014 drew to a close, so did the 36th rotation of the NATO Baltic Air Policing (BAP) mission. In a ceremony held at Šiauliai Air Base, Lithuania, on 31 December 2014, the Portuguese Air Force handed over the responsibility of Baltic Air Policing to the Italian Air Force.

Hungarian Gripens Fly Familiarization Flight in Estonian Airspace

Two Gripen fighters of the Hungarian Air Force conducted a familiarization flight in the airspace of Estonia on Wednesday, December 10. The aircraft are getting ready to join NATO’s Baltic Air Policing Mission in 2015, the Directorate of the General Staff of the Estonian armed forces announced in Tallinn.

NATO to reinforce measures on land in Lithuania: Hungarian military company is on the way

A company of the Hungarian Armed Force will be deployed to Lithuana as part of NATO reinforcement measures on land. The first group of Hungarian company troops along with technical equipment arrived in Lithuania on 28 October, while the rest group is due to come on 30 October later this week.
