Memorial Plaque in Honour of the First Peace-keeping Mission

The delegation of the MoD Institute and Museum of Military History (HM HIM) inaugurated a memorial plaque in honour of the former Austrian-Hungarian Consul, Gyula Pintér, who led the first international peace-keeping operation on 18th May, in Crete, Greece.

The General Director of the London National Army Museum Visited the MoD Military History Institute and Museum

Mr. Justin Maciejewski DSO MBE, the General Director of the London National Army Museum paid a visit on 16th October to the MoD Military History Institute and Museum, where he held talks with Colonel Dr. Vilmos Kovács, the Commandant of the MoD MHIM about the co-operation opportunities of the two military history museums.
