Change of Command in the KFOR Tactical Reserve Maneuver Battalion
Szöveg: Capt. Piroska Kozák | 2016. november 3. 9:00The KFOR Tactical Reserve Maneuver Battalion (KTM) has a new commander. The KTM Transfer of Authority Ceremony took place on 25 October in Camp Slim Lines, Pristina, Kosovo.
The change of command ceremony was presided by DCOM KFOR Brig.-Gen. Christian Riener. In his speech delivered at the event, Portuguese Deputy Chief of Military Operations Joint Command Maj.-Gen. Cardoso Lourenco recognized the high value of the results achieved by outgoing KTM Commander Lt.-Col. Francisco Souza and his troops. The lieutenant-commander deployed to Kosovo from the 2nd Paratrooper Infantry Battalion of the Portuguese Army, and at the end of his tour he has now handed over the command to Lt.-Col. António Da Silva Cardoso, the commander of the Portuguese 1st Mechanized Infantry Battalion.
Lt.-Col. Zoltán Virág, the commander of the 15th rotation of the HDF KFOR Contingent (KFOR-15 HUNCON) thanked Lt.-Col. Sousa and the command sergeant major of the battalion for their joint work and excellent cooperation.
