EUFOR Chief of Staff visited AFBiH Logistics Command
Szöveg: honvedelem.hu / euforbih.org | 2017. augusztus 9. 6:20On 2 August 2017 EUFOR Chief Of Staff, Brigadier General Szpisják, visited the Logistics Command of the Armed Forces of BiH (AFBiH) in Doboj. Commanding Officer Colonel Rusmir Mrković informed the General on the mission, structure and deployment of the various subordinate units and centres. Currently EUFOR facilitates the AFBiH’s efforts in the area of logistics through embedded advisors and mobile training teams.
Brigadier General Szpisják receives detailed information on AFBIH’s efforts in logistics.
The general mission of the Logistics Command is to plan, organize and provide support to all AFBiH units. It covers maintenance, supply, transport, service support and many other functions. An important fact is that all ammunition storage sites and weapons storage sites belong to this Logistics Command. Brigadier General Szpisják was particularly interested how EUFOR can continue to support through its capacity building and training activities.

Brigadier General Szpisják underlined the importance of the Logistics Command and pointed out that a solid logistic background is the basic condition for the further development of Armed Forces.
