Italian Ambassadorial Visit
Szöveg: Ministry of Defence | 2017. július 21. 9:00Minister of Defence István Simicskó recently received, on a courtesy call, Massimo Rustico, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy.
During the discussion, the minister of defence said that the migration wave affecting the whole of Europe involves serious security policy risks, and the negative security trends are expected to continue for a long time.
The two delegations agreed that it is in the interest of all of us that we can take joint action against illegal migration and human trafficking, by taking effective measures guaranteeing long-term solutions.
Ambassador Massimo Rustico said that Italy is presently in a difficult situation, as it must deal with a serious and migration pressure which will further increase if his country does not receive adequate support to stop it. The future of Europe and the protection of European citizens demand that the uncontrolled wave of migration be stopped.
