Paying Tribute to Aurél Stein’s Memory
Szöveg: HUN LMT-6 | 2013. január 26. 6:00By tradition, in the company of Hungary’s ambassador to Kabul, the soldiers serving with the HDF Logistic Mentor Team (HUN LTM) deployed in Kabul visit the grave of Aurél Stein, the great traveler and famous geographer which is situated in the British military cemetery in central Kabul.
In January 2013 there was a change of ambassadors in Kabul. Ambassador Károly Peimli
handed over his responsibilities to his successor, Antal Dragos. Together with them, the
staff of the HUN LMT laid flowers by Aurél Stein’s grave. Afterwards the outgoing and the
incoming ambassadors gave a reception for the leaders of the military contingents deployed in
Kabul.
